{"id":47578,"date":"2025-04-09T08:08:38","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T06:08:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rugbyclubhoekvanholland.nl\/?p=47578"},"modified":"2025-04-09T08:08:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T06:08:39","slug":"thank-you-matt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rugbyclubhoekvanholland.nl\/index.php\/2025\/04\/thank-you-matt\/","title":{"rendered":"THANK YOU MATT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Vanwege persoonlijke- en werk gerelateerde redenen, heeft Matt besloten de bal na dit seizoen door te passen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namens het bestuur, en nog veel belangrijker, de Jeugdcommissie willen wij Matt bedanken voor bijna&nbsp;10 jaar&nbsp;als vrijwilliger, jeugdtrainer, teammanager en 3 geweldige seizoenen als Jeugdvoorzitter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt was \u201cthe tip of the spear\u201d van de nieuwe Jazzy Jeugdcommissie. Onder zijn leiding hebben wij de jeugd in 3 seizoenen meer dan zien verdubbelen, vele oude tradities uit het stof gehaald en nog veel meer nieuwe tradities gecre\u00eberd. Tientallen nieuwe senioren overhandigd en voor vele nieuwe gezichten door de hele club gezorgd. Trainers, teammanagers, jeugdco\u00f6rdinatoren, bestuurs- en commissieleden, jeugd- en senioren spelers, sponsoren, noem maar op!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Te veel om op te noemen, maar hieronder een aantal highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We begonnen gelijk sterk door met meer dan 150 kinderen en volwassenen op tour naar Frankrijk &amp; Belgi\u00eb te gaan! \u201cDe Van IJzer en Beton Tour\u201d\u00a0<br>(P.s. de volgende tour zijn we alweer aan het plannen.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De seizoens- opening en afsluiting zijn weer een begrip.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De cluster banden met de diverse cluster partners zijn sterker dan ooit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In het district zijn we een leading club geworden voor rugby tradities, cultuur, normen en waarden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We zijn inmiddels als club, samen met onze BBQ crew uitgegroeid tot de favoriete bestemming van menig Engelse Rugby club.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De exposure &amp; uitstraling van de club hebben een Jazzy touch gekregen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Het Jan van Burg \u00e9n Jim O&#8217;Shea toernooi staan weer jaarlijks op de agenda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De Kikkervisacademie is uitgegroeid tot een begrip in de regio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sinds dit seizoen hebben we ook onze eigen Rugby College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mister Jazzy himself blijft nog tot het einde van het seizoen om de scepter over te dragen aan zijn opvolger(s)! Under his leadership, we have seen the youth more than double in size over the past three seasons. Many old traditions have been revived, and even more new traditions have been created. Dozens of youth players have been prepared for senior rugby, and many new faces have been welcomed throughout the club: coaches, team managers, youth coordinators, board and committee members, youth and senior players, sponsors, you name it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Undoubtedly everyone will share one of our favourite memories of Matt, but let\u2019s list a few of our highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We started strong by taking over 150 children and adults on a tour to France &amp; Belgium! \u201cThe Van Ijzer en Beton Tour\u201d\u00a0<br>(P.S. we are already planning the next tour.)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The season opening and closing events have become a tradition once again.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The cluster ties with various cluster partners are stronger than ever.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the district, we have become a leading club for rugby traditions, culture, norms, and values.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a club, along with our BBQ crew, we have grown to be the favourite destination for many English rugby clubs.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The exposure and image of the club have received a Jazzy touch.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Jan van Burg and Jim O&#8217;Shea tournaments are back on the annual agenda.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Kikkervis Academy has become an essential part of our youth\u2019s foundation.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since this season, we also have our own Rugby College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mister Jazzy himself will stay until the end of the season to pass the rugbyball to his successor(s)! Will you help us and Matt make these last few months as Jazzy as can be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Words aren\u2019t enough.
